Concert in Milwaukee April 18th, 2009
Our Junior Orchestra has been invited to be the guest performers for Milwaukee CFU on April 18th, 2009. It is their annual concert that starts at 4 pm and includes dinner and a social immediately following. Our Juniors will be performing a dance set and music from Slavonija. Anyone interested in attending the performance, dinner, and social can sign up for the bus by contacting me at wkgntammies@comcast.net or 847-662-8850. I will have general prices for non-performers once I have a more accurate count. This is a wonderful opportunity for our Junior Performers and will be a lot of fun for all of our members. Milwaukee always has wonderful entertainment for the social and great food! Please RSVP in the next couple of weeks. Julie
2009 Junior Festival moved to the Hyatt Downtown Chicago
By now I'm sure you have all heard that the 2009 Festival scheduled in Croatia has been canceled because of economic issues by the CFU. It is now going to be held at the Hyatt Downtown Chicago, right off of the wonderful Magnificent Mile :) If you're interested in doing a little more research on the location, please see the link below.
